Peeled steel round bars - description

Peeled steel round bars are produced on a peeling line. Behind the peeling line there is a machine which straightens and polishes the peeled material. Furthermore, the line includes a machine which chamfers both ends of the straightened and peeled bars. The parameters of peeled bars are manufactured to meet CSN, DIN, EN and GOST standards.

Surface finish:

Peeled steel round bars are supplied in smooth surface finish without any surface defects.



Heat treatment:

Peeled steel round bars are heat treated before peeling.



Tolerances dimensions

Peeled steel round bars are supplied in minus range of tolerance limits and their magnitudes are specified i appropriate dimensions standards and satisfy the tolerance limit by ISO h9 a h11.



Lengths and tolerances:
Peeled steel round bars are supplied in usual standard, approximate or precise length from 2,75 to 6 m. The length specifications including their tolerances are given in the size standards 

Packing and designation:

Peeled steel round bars are delivered in bundles which weigh from 1000 to 2500 kg. Upon request the bundles can be wrapped in paper or jute or they can be delivered in cases. Each bundle is fitted with the producer's label containing the data as follows:

  • size
  • steel grade
  • lengths
  • heat number
  • weight in kg, by agreement length in m and number of pieces
  • customer

The surface of the bars is protected against atmospheric corrosion with a preserving agent.
