Welded steel enclosed section tubes square and rectangular - description
The longitudinally welded thin-walled section tubes are made of hot-rolled or cold-rolled strips. The base material is welded in the same way as a tube and the required shape is formed consequently. HF induction welding produces excellent homogeneous joint with a minimal heat affected zone. The parameters of welded tubes are manufactured to meet CSN, DIN and GOST standards.

Hot dip galvanized tubes can be supplied in the following range:
square sections - outer size up 20 mm to 60 mm inc. with wall ticknes up 1,8 mm and higher
rectangular sections - outer size up 30 x 18 mm to 60 x 40 mm inc. with wall ticknes up 2 mm and higher.
Max. lenghts of hot dip galvanized sections are 7 meters. Hot dip galvanized layer min. 400 g/m2. Defects. scratches not exceeding the extreme tolerances in the wall thickness are permisible. The external collar of the weld is removed, while the seam may be visible. The inner collar satisfies the standard in line with the wall thickness.

Packing and designation:
The welded steel section tubes are supplied in band-blocked square bundles of weight to 2000 kg. Each bundle is fitted with the producer's label containing the data as follows:
- size
- steel grade
- lengths
- heat number
- weight in kg, by agreement length in m and number of pieces
- customer
During the time of transport to the customer the section tubes may be protected by a preservation agent coat against atmospheric corrosion.
